A SELWONK LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCEPowerhouse
Leadership Lab
Build the leadership capabilities, strategic influence, and consultant mindset to change how your organization thinks about, invests in, and leads Early Talent.
Next Cohort: Sept. 2nd - Nov. 14th
Today, organizations need more than strong programs and pipelines. They need leaders who can help the business recognize, invest in, and fully leverage the strategic potential of Early Talent.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
How You’ll Develop
THE COACHING MODELThe market can't wait for early talent leadership to become more strategic "someday."
So, rather than learning about leadership in theory, you'll spend 10 weeks advancing an actual organizational transformation—one that moves your company closer to realizing the full potential of early talent.
But busy season won't wait either.
That’s why you’ll develop into a leader who thinks, acts, and speaks like a consultant through four integrated coaching environments designed to transform both your leadership and your organization simultaneously—even while the pressure’s on.
THE LEADERSHIP TRANSFORMATION10 Weeks to Becoming
a Powerhouse Leader
Every successful business transformation begins with the leader behind it.
Thinking, speaking, and acting like a consultant starts with upgrading how you operate, show up, and lead. That’s where we begin.
Think Like a Consultant
Speak Like a Consultant
Act Like a Consultant
Built for the Realities of Busy Season
THE EXPERIENCEYour Workplace Becomes the Laboratory
This program is designed to change how you approach the work you're already doing—not add more to your plate.
Rather than practicing on a fictional company or working through hypothetical case studies, you'll bring your real organizational remit into the program and spend 10 weeks tackling a strategic challenge inside your own org.
Every week, you'll apply what you're learning directly inside your existing meetings, projects, and stakeholder conversations—not after hours—allowing you to test new behaviors, refine your thinking, and build meaningful momentum behind your workforce initiative.
Train Like an Elite Performer—Even While the Pressure's On
Athletes don't stop training during competition season. Actors don't stop rehearsing after opening night. We believe high-impact leadership works the same way.
That's why we intentionally designed a coaching experience for leaders who are incredibly busy, under pressure, and balancing demanding roles—not people with endless time to study.
Instead of waiting for work to slow down, you'll immediately test new leadership behaviors, practice frameworks in real time, and receive feedback to refine your approach, so you return to your next conversation, meeting, and strategic challenge stronger than before—all while continuing to deliver inside your role.
Private Coaching Meets Community Coaching
Strategic stewardship doesn't happen in isolation. Neither should your coaching.
Every week, you'll bring your real stakeholder conversations, team dynamics, organizational politics, wins, and failures into either a private or community coaching session—not weeks later.
Through bi-weekly executive coaching sessions, you'll receive personalized guidance tailored to your organization's strategic initiative and your leadership growth.
Then, alongside your cohort, you'll gather with other early talent leaders navigating similar challenges to naturally benchmark your thinking, exchange ideas, hold one another accountable, and continue supporting each other through Slack long after the program ends.
Build Something That Lasts
You won't just leave with notes. You'll leave with momentum.
Throughout the 10 weeks, you'll steadily advance your workforce challenge while building an executive-ready strategy deck and receiving reusable leadership resources you can use with your team long after the program concludes.
The experience culminates in a Capstone Presentation Day on the final Saturday of the program, where you'll demonstrate how you've learned to think, act, and speak like a consultant, present your strategic initiative, and receive closing feedback from your peers.
You'll also receive a personalized Manager Enablement Guide designed to help your boss continue supporting your growth, reinforce your new leadership approach, and sustain the momentum you built throughout the program.

By now, you’ve probably noticed something.
We haven't spent much time talking about campus recruiting, employer branding, intern programs, or Early Talent best practices.
That's intentional.
We built the Powerhouse Leadership Lab on a simple belief: you're already an exceptional Early Talent leader. The greatest opportunity in your career isn't learning another set of best practices—it's learning how to translate the expertise you already have into greater strategic influence, organizational movement, and business impact.
That's why the "new domain" you'll develop inside the Lab isn't another area of Early Talent. It's learning to think, speak, and act like a consultant.
Through strategic workforce leadership, commercial fluency, executive communication, performance psychology, and leadership coaching, you'll develop the capabilities that determine whether your ideas gain traction, your recommendations shape decisions, and your work becomes a strategic driver of the business.
YOUR COACH
Performance Psychology-Informed. Busy-Season Tested.
Every framework inside the Powerhouse Leadership Lab has been rigorously shaped through market research, behavioral observation, ongoing conversations with early talent leaders, and the principles of performance psychology.
RESULTS IN PRACTICEOver the past several cohorts, participants described what happened when they began thinking, acting, and speaking like consultants inside their orgs—becoming more strategic leaders, finally seeing their influence land across the business, and changing the way their companies approached early talent.
What Past Participants Experienced
These shifts weren’t achieved through hypothetical exercises— they happened while participants were advancing real strategic work inside their own organizations.
